I have been trying to mute my product videos (theme ‘Dawn’) and all the instructions on here don’t seem to be working for me.
I don’t have a page that’s “media.liquid”, I only have “product-media.liquid” is this the same?
Also this is the section I’ve been trying to edit, typing “muted: true” but it’s not working.
Any and all help greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

I checked and the default video is muted, you don’t need to add any code.

Here is the product: https://shop.wildlifeart.org/products/audubons-animals-the-viviparous-quadrupeds-of-north-america-with-24-facsimile-prints and it has the option of mute and un-mute but I’m wondering if there’s a way to mute it permanently and not have the option of sound at all?

This is impossible. If you want to disable, it will disable all options:
You can disable it with “controls: false”.
