I have a Shopify online store, as well as a retail storefront. I am trying to get notifications for new ONLINE orders sent to my phone. However, after following all the necessary steps, I am still getting notifications sent to my phone for all orders placed, even on the POS system.
Any ideas on how to fix this? I’ve changed notification settings, and tried using the Shopify help center.
I run a bakery, so having online orders separate from my POS system is a must when notifying my staff of the order.
I’m bumping this because it’s been an ongoing need and still hasn’t happened! Not only on the iPhone app, but on all platforms and, especially, in the POS app, too! If you go to Settings > Staff Notifications > Recipients (on the web), there is an option for new recipients to receive “All orders” or “Online orders,” or you can select a location (if you have more than one).
The existing recipients show as “All orders,” but there’s no apparent way to change that. I can delete my email notification and then enter it again AND choose “Online orders,” but I deleted a device, and now it seems it’s gone forever. I have no idea how to add it again.
