How can I remove text appearing beneath my website footer?

Beneath my footer there is this text:

.template-product .product__policies{ display: none !important; }

Does anyone know how I can delete this text?

Hello There,

  1. In your Shopify Admin go to online store > themes > actions > edit code
  2. Find Layout → theme.liquid and search this one code and remove it:

Search :- .template-product .product__policies{ display: none !important; }

@SwenBaart i think you have added that code out of tag . it might be either available in footer.liquid or theme.liquid. just put that code inside of the tag.

I’ve found the code in theme.liquid do I just delete the code?

Hello there,

yes remove it.

  1. In your Shopify Admin go to online store > themes > actions > edit code
  2. Find Asset → base.css and paste this at the bottom of the file:
.template-product .product__policies {
  display: none !important;
}

@SwenBaart just add that code in base.css file or you can added that code inside of the tag like below one before closing tag:
