How can I resolve issues with verifying my shipping location address?

Hi, I am based in Taiwan, I was trying to set up my location for my shipping, but for some reason it says “This address couldn’t be verified. You may be unable to buy shipping labels or set up certain delivery methods. Review the format or try re-entering your address.”

My business has already a registered address, I have tried typing the registered address, but it still couldn’t verify. I have also tried typing with different formats including using caps lock. Is there any other solutions to this problem? Thank you in advance!

Are you using an integrated shipping option so that you can buy shipping labels from within your store admin? If yes, I would reach out to our live support in the Help Center to troubleshoot this!

If not, then you don’t need to worry about the address error message. Our system uses Google’s services to authenticate addresses and in certain regions the address accuracy isn’t as good. This is only important though if you are using a shipping service integrated into your admin that relies on the store address. If you are buying your shipping labels yourself, then you can ignore the message and it won’t cause any issues.
