How can I set up a Gcash payment gateway on my website?

Hi Can somebody help me with my payment gateway? The website is all set up for a month now but I couldn’t somehow find the easiest way to make the payment work. Can somebody please help me? Gcash please or creditcard. (Paypal is still being worked on, I need an alternative for now.) Thanks!

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! You can certainly set up a third-party payment provider, like GCash for the shop. We offer over 100 credit card providers you can select from depending on where you’re located to make available to customers. For a list of these providers, you can refer to our Third-Party Payment Providers documentation.

GCash via PayMongo specifically, is available for shops located within the Philippines and can be set up by following our Configuring Third-Party Payment Providers guide. To achieve this, you can:

  • Head to Settings > Payments from the Shopify admin.

  • If you have Shopify Payments enabled:

    • In the Shopify payments section, click Manage.
    • At the bottom of the page, click Switch to a third-party provider, and then click Switch to a third-party provider again to confirm.

  • If you don’t have Shopify Payments enabled, then in the Shopify payments section, click See all other providers.

  • If Shopify Payments isn’t available in your country, then in the Payment providers section, click Choose a provider.

  • Select GCash via PayMongo from the list.

  • Enter your account credentials for the provider that you selected.

  • Click Activate.

  • Click Save.
