I recently started my Shopify store and I bought a domain, it was a dot.com domain and I am unable to verify it. It has been about a couple week so I was not aware that it was not verified. I have included a screenshot of what it says. I did pay the 14.00 for the domain. Using www.caitymariesdreamtresses.com does not work nothing comes up, but if you put caitymariesdreamtresses.com it will work.
When a domain is purchased, normally a domain verification email is sent to the account owner. If you don’t receive an email about verifying your email address, then check your email inbox’s spam folder or resend the verification email from your Shopify admin. If you don’t verify your email address, then your domain might be suspended. You may need to change your email address just to help verify the domain - unless you can find a verification email in your inbox or spam folder.
If you can’t see an email in your inbox asking to verify the domain, could you please log into your Shopify admin and then click Settings > Domains > Manage. After that, please click the Edit button as shown here and change the email address assigned to the domain. After you have changed the email address, a new verification email will be sent to your inbox within the next 24 hours. Please make sure to check your inbox, spam, junk or social folder for the email.
Once your domain issue has been resolved, it’s also a good idea to set up a custom domain email address. This will allow your business to appear more professional, which will then strengthen trust with prospective customers. While Shopify doesn’t currently offer email hosting natively on our platform, if you’re just starting out, a popular choice to help with setting up your custom email address is Zoho Mail. Otherwise, Google Workspace is also a commonly used provider for hosting your custom email.
