How can I sync inventory between two different e-commerce accounts?

How can I link inventory from two different Shopify accounts? Shopify account 1 only works as point of sale, Shopify account 2 is the e-commerce. Want to link inventory from the Shopify account 1 to Shopify account 2. Is there a feature in stocky or a different app I need to link the inventory?

Hey, @Paolae .

Thank you for reaching out and posting this question!

You can use a third-party app, like Multi-Store Sync Power or Syncio Multi Store Sync, to sync inventory between multiple stores. However, if you’d like to explore some more options, then I’d recommend taking a look at our list of available apps for syncing inventory here: Shopify app store - stock syncing. That being said, if you need any help with a third-party app, then the app developer is always available to assist you - simply reach out to them directly through the contact information found in the Support section of their app’s page.

I’d love to hear more about your business! What kinds of products are you selling? Was there a particular reason you had to create separate stores for your online store and point-of-sale?

Managing separate stores for your physical POS and another for e-commerce can be useful for your needs, but keeping that inventory in sync manually is a recipe for a headache (and overselling).

Elias has highlighted some great established veterans in the space.
I’d also like add our more modern app to the list of available options here - Gro Multi Store Sync.

With the app you can sync inventory across your POS and e-commerce store in real-time, in both directions.
The moment an order is placed (or inventory is adjusted) on either of the stores, the stock level will update instantly at both stores.

Beyond just inventory, if you need, you can sync products and collections too, to avoid manual toil and save time. If you add a new arrival to your main store, it will automatically populate on the other site.

Also, you might not want everything synced.
If that is the case, you can use flexible product selection to choose exactly what should get synced and what should not.
