Currently, a customer who goes to “shop all” Sees all of my products in alphabetical order, unless they change their own viewing method
I want to switch it so that they defauly see the newest-added products first instead.
Is it possible to do this?
yes it is possible, but for that we need to add js code in your store.

Does your Shop All link lead to /collections/all? I believe you can make a collection called “All” and include your products in there, you should be able to pick how they are sorted from the admin.

If you want to change the sort order that is shown on your online store when a customer views a collection, you can change this from the Shopify Admin by following these steps:
- Login to your Shopify Admin
- Click on Products. Here’s what that looks like from my test store:
- Click on Collections
- Navigate to the collection that you want to change the sort order for, and click on the name
- Under “Products” you’ll see a dropdown menu with “Sort” in front of it. If you click on this, you can select from different sorting options. Click on the sorting option that you desire:
- Once you finish selecting an option, the Collection will auto-save. You can then check your collection for the changes by clicking on the “View” text link at the top of the page:
Your customer will also have the option to change the “Sort by:” to whichever option they would like, so it’s good to keep this in mind.
Is your “shop all” collection one that you created yourself, or was this a default collection that was renamed when you opened your store?
