Just started a new e-commerce business and trying to connect a payment provider for checkout, my chosen provide is asking for my merchant id, i was just wondering how do i attain this?

Shopify doesn’t have a Merchant ID for each account that we would be able to share, but we can let you know your Shop ID, which you can typically use in these situations instead. We can’t see your account information here over the Shopify Community, but if you reach out to our support team through the Help Center here we can help further.
