How do I retract an IP Infringement sent in error on Shopify?

Who do I contact within Shopify to retract an IP Infringement which was sent in error to an authorized seller of our products. The infringement was sent from a 3rd party who consulted for us in error.

You can contact Shopify’s Trust and Safety team to retract an IP infringement.

  1. Go to Shopify’s Contact Us page.
  2. Select the Trust and Safety department from the drop-down menu.
  3. In the Subject field, type “Retract IP Infringement”.
  4. In the Message field, provide the following information:
  • Your Shopify store name.
  • The URL of the product that was mistakenly reported for IP infringement.
  • A brief explanation of why the report was sent in error.
  • The contact information of the authorized seller who was affected by the report.1. Click the Send button
