Hi, I’m new here. Just a question, I already have my prodigo imported by AliExpress, the cost on it was about 12-15$ for the base version (there are four), by the way, I was ready to create the order and then I saw that I have to pay it 30$ dollars instead of 15$, to make the profit obviously. So if a pay my product 30$ dollars, the price I sell to my customers, where will be my profit?
Your profit from each sale can be calculated by the price you charge your customer, minus the price you pay your supplier. Keep in mind, this will include shipping. For example, if you are charging your customer $30, and the product is costing you $20, the profit is $10.
Keep in mind, suppliers generally charge different shipping rates for different locations. This could be why the cost is higher than you were expecting. I recommend looking for suppliers who offer free shipping. Or, you will need to check the different shipping costs for each location you plan to sell to, to ensure you are factoring this shipping cost into the product price.
If you look at the product in AliExpress, just below the price and options, you will see the ‘Ship to’ section. Here, you can input your desired location to check the shipping rate, as it will differ depending on the country. I recommend you check out this guideon how to price your products accordingly.
