Shopify’s Dawn theme doesn’t come with built-in demo data, but you can set up a similar look by following these steps:

  1. Reset theme to default: If you’ve modified Dawn, go to Online Store > Themes, click Customize, and reset sections to see the default layout.
  2. Use a fresh copy: Download a new copy of Dawn from the Shopify Theme Store and install it.
  3. Import sample content: Shopify doesn’t provide direct demo data, but you can manually add products, collections, and images similar to the demo. Free placeholder images can be found on Shopify Burst or Pexels.
  4. Use JSON templates: If you want pre-built sections, you can copy JSON template files from Dawn’s GitHub repository and replace them in your theme files.
