How to connect two Shopify POS retail locations - farmers markets/pop ups

Hello - we are a hot sauce brand that is starting to do farmers market. We have done one event per day at farmers markets, where we used the Tap & Chip Card reader, which worked well. However, we now have the opportunity to do two pop-ups/farmers market the same day at the same time and I am scratching my head what’s the best approach for this:

  1. Are we able to do this with Shopify POS lite membership? Or do we have to go into the Pro membership.
  2. If we are able to do it with the Lite membership, do we just buy another Tap & Chip Card Reader and just assign two separate roles so that both devices can operate the same day at different locations?

I want to make sure we do it right before ordering the POS Device. Thanks for the help!

Hi, @trinahotsauce . POS subscriptions are managed per location so you would only need to upgrade to POS Pro if you need those additional retail features for your second location. The following guides can help you out with this:
