I bought stiletto about two years ago and at first everything was great but now the colors don’t show up. Is there a way to make the swatches into pictures of the product? I’m about to change to a free theme as this has lost me so many sales.

There are many applications that can help you. Check the app store to see which app best suits your requirements.
I can suggest: Swatch King ‑ Variant Options or Variant Image Wizard + Swatch
But depend of your theme version and your products.
