Hi guys
I’m having an issue with my data layer in Shopify returning an incorrect Product ID value, compared to what is submitted through the product feed.
The data layer has “shopify_us_” as its value, but its supposed to be “shopify_dk_” instead.
The problem seems to have arrived since we recently changed our domain name to a new one in Shopify as that date marks a significant drop in our performance in Ads. I checked all langauge and country settings in Settings and everything is set to Denmark.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
I took a screenshot of the data in https://imgur.com/a/xvYk7T5
Hi @Ken_Blasted-RC
Kindly share your store URL.I will be glad to help you.

There is a valid id, but under the wrong parameter name: g_product_id
This seems to be submitted by the free shopping channel.
I recommend manually installing the code. Reference: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/7331077?hl=en

Hi @EmmanuelFlossie
Sorry, I’m not sure I understand here. Is g_product_id where the valid ID is found or where it needs to be displayed?
I tried removing the the free sales channel and reinstall it, which fixed the Shopify_US issue, so it nows displays the correct country code. However, I still get and undefined value on the variant code in g_product_id, so now the data says: “shopify_DK_7535357329602_undefined”.
I’m using Analyzify as well.
I recommend you either contact the free shopping app support team (this is the app that set up your code, I assume) Or manually setup the correct remarketing code, using the previous provided guide.
g_product_id is not a valid attribute, and is not used by Google Ads.
