How can I create return shipping labels for my business on shopify?
Hi @Lisa_Luna ,
Thanks for reaching out! Great question.
If your default location is in the United States, you can create and send return labels in your Shopify admin. After you create a return label, you can send it by email directly from the Shopify admin or copy a link to print the label. Return labels are only available for domestic orders in the United States.
If your default location isn’t in the United States, then you need to purchase return labels directly through a shipping carrier or a shipping app.
For accounts with a USA default location, you can create a shipping label by following these steps:
- From your Shopify admin, go to Orders.
- Click the order number.
- Click Return items.
- Enter the quantity of items in the order that are being returned.
- In the Return shipping options section, select Create return label in Shopify.
- In the RETURN TO section, click Edit address. Verify that the returns address is the address where you want to return your order to.
- In the PACKAGE AND WEIGHT section, select the expected package size and enter the anticipated order weight.
- In the SHIPPING SERVICE section, select a shipping method.
- Click Create return label.
- Select how you want to share the return label with your customer.
-
- Click Done.
I find it easier to follow step-by-step tutorials if they are in a video format. So if you’re like me, you’ll find this video guide very helpful.
