How to extend product inventory to partner sites sustainably?

In an effort to cut some carbon, we’re working towards allowing partner shops access to our inventory.
Rather than:
Buy wholesale
Ship to them
Let them resell
Ship to customer

We’d like to extend our products (or a specific collection) to “live” in their store for them to sell, while we continue to manage inventory and ship direct.
…hopeful there’s a keyword or two that reaches this community.

Thanks @JHKCreate we’ve explored this as an option but I don’t think it solves it.
You can place Buy Buttons on your non-Shopify website or blog

Misses the point about this installation being 2 separate Shopify Stores.

Here’s another way of looking at it:

Shopify1 hosts and maintains inventory of Product1
Shopify2 wishes to show and sell Product1 using Shopify2 cart/checkout, but still rely on Shopify1 to fulfill the order.

Is this possible?
