How to filter out of stock items when filtering by size?

Hello,

Would anyone be able to help with the following:

When filtering products by size, those that are out of stock, are also displayed. What is the best way to approach this?

Is there a code that could be inserted, so the items out of stock do not come up in the search?

We are using the latest Prestige theme.

There is already a solution to hide all out of stock products automatically in the documentation.

Hello,
Thank you very much for your quick response.
I have tried to follow the directions, and make sure that the conditions
within the collection is set to “meet all conditions” greater than 0
inventory, but it still shows the items out of stock in that size, when you
try to filter.
Could you please let me know what else can be done? or am I doing something
wrong?

If you to this changes to a specific collection you get a preview of your products in your collection. Do sold out products appear in your preview?

Hi, was this ever solved? I have the same issue with Dawn theme.

I’m also having this issue. Did you ever manage to get a solution? I also have my automated collections to only show products where inventory is greater than 0, yet they still show up when filtering in the sidebar. So, I have size variants for my products, the filter in the sidebar shows that are 10 Mediums available in that collection, even though there are only 2 mediums. It’s pretty silly for this not to be working properly as its the entire point the filtering system.

No, it seems that there’s a fundamental flaw with this filtering system. One would have thought that Shopify would have fixed this by now.
