How to link 3D model to product variants without third-party apps?

Hello there.

We have a product which comes in multiple variants. We would like to display each product variant as a 3D model.

For the Dawn Theme, there is no possibility to choose a 3D Model for a product variant, right?
Is there a workaround? We don’t want to use 3rd party apps, there has to be some way..?
