How to Make Dynamic Checkout Appear Unbranded?

I have noticed that only people with PayPal, Apple Pay, etc. are buying my product. I am losing all customers with card. I think they think they can’t pay with card because of the dynamic checkout buttons. I would like the button to say “buy now” instead of “buy with PayPal” or “buy with Apple Pay” but still allow these payment methods. What code can I use to do this? I am on the dawn theme. Thank you so much

The dynamic checkout buttons are dynamically added to the theme as it loads, casually mucking about with they’re internals is not advised.

Don’t get confused by survivor bias.

More likely this working as intended and showing the exact relevant checkout method customers prefer.

Don’t look for ghosts to explain problems, validate assumptions.

Have any substantial amount of prospective customers explicitly said this.

This can just as easily be framed as people without apple-pay or paypal don’t want the product, so prospects with google-pay, samsung pay etc etc don’t want it either not just credit cards.

Or that most of your customers have those methods so they use them without having to waste time pulling out a credit card.

Validate assumptions,

A/b tests - for a segment turn off dynamic checkouts

put accept-payments methods near the buy buttons, change the text of the add-to-cart to clarify cc’s are accepted, etc etc.
