Currently, the call to action button on my home page leads to a Collections page, which displays two collections. To view the products, a shopper must first click on a collection. However, I’d like to remove the Collections page entirely and have my call to action button lead to a view of all products. How can I do this? Thank you!
As @Aashish_Bhatt mentioned, it would certainly be useful to see your store so that I can get a clearer understanding of what you’re looking to achieve. In fact, if you were to tell me what theme you’re using and what store you building, I could provide you with all sorts of tailored help!
However, if I’ve understood you correctly you’re saying that you want a button on your home page to lead to all your products instead of the collections page.
You can do this by going to Customize > Selecting the button for your Call To Action > linking to Products > All products as I did in this video. You can also add links to collections in your navigation (your menu).
All that said, don’t underestimate the power of a featured collection or “Almost Gone” sale collection! Spotlighting products because they are scarce or high value, or because they’re relevant to a particular time of the month or event, is a great marketing strategy.
You can create an Almost Gone or “Sale” collection as Bando have. You do that by creating an automatic collection and selecting two conditions 1) Compare at price is greater than 0.01 and 2) Inventory is lower than 5 (or whatever number you’d consider low stock for your products here)
That’s just a suggestion anyway, but as I said if you provide me with a link to your store I could provide more targeted feedback!
That’s fantastic to hear! And can I just say that your store (and the mission you’re on) is inspiring and so lovely.
So I’d highly recommend that you find every opportunity you can to spread the word and establish your presence and brand authority.
Do you have a target customer avatar in place? As in, do you know who your audience is? You have a solid social media following, and clearly that acts as a perfect channel to raise brand awareness - but have you considered other channels that your ideal customer might use?
