Remove collections to improve UX

Hi there - I currently have 2 collections of products that customers have to choose from when they click on Shop. I want the shop link to go to a page with all of my products instead. Can someone please help me figure out how to make that change? Thank you!

Hey @cielopillholder

Certainly! To make the “Shop” link on your website go to a page with all of your products instead of the current setup with two collections, you will need to modify the navigation menu in your Shopify store. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you make the change:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to “Online Store” and select “Navigation.”
  2. In the “Main Menu” section, locate the link that corresponds to your “Shop” menu item.
  3. Click on the link to edit it.
  4. In the “Link” field, change the URL to point to the “All Products” collection. You can do this by entering /collections/all in the URL field. This URL will automatically display all of your products.
  5. Save the changes.

Once you’ve completed these steps, the “Shop” link on your website’s navigation menu will direct customers to a page displaying all of your products. They will be able to browse and view all the available products in one place.

Please note that the “All Products” collection is a default collection automatically generated by Shopify. If you’ve modified the handle or name of this collection, adjust the URL accordingly in step 4.

After making the changes, it’s a good idea to preview your store and test the “Shop” link to ensure it redirects to the desired page with all your products.
