How can I fix this problem when the Canonical URL has been set.

This is actually a common practice , and there’s no need to worry.

  • “Alternate Page with Proper Canonical Tag”
    This status message indicates that there are two versions of a page on your website with the same canonical URL. Google will exclude the duplicate version and index the main version of the page. Essentially, this means Google has correctly identified the canonical URLs, and there is nothing you need to do on your end.
