I am trying to manage my inventory without the use of 3rd party apps and wanted to know how to set up inventory where if it’s out at one location (physical shop) it will show available at another location (warehouse).
For example, I have a jar of paint that I usually stock, but if it’s currently out of stock I want my customers be able order from the warehouse and shipped directly to them. You can see an example here: https://odellproject.com/products/clear-coat and you can select 8oz, Satin. I am out of stock in the store but the warehouse has unlimited stock.
The way it seems to be setup is that I have to “continuing selling while out of stock” for both locations by default vs. by individual location.
How can I fix this? or if a 3rd party app is needed, which one would you recommend?
