How to prevent payment suspension when using PayPal instead of Shopify Payments?

My payment is being suspended because I have not set up Shopify Payments. However, I want to continue to use PayPal. How do I prevent this from happening?

From what I understand, your Shopify Payments account is suspended due to you not completing the setup process, but you still want to be able to use PayPal on your store. That’s no problem! You can set up PayPal on your store without using Shopify Payments. You can see what this looks like on my test store (Shopify Payments is not set up but PayPal is):

However, if you are able to, I would recommend setting up Shopify Payments in addition to PayPal, as there are many benefits. Shopify Payments eliminates the hassle of setting up a third-party payment provider or merchant account and having to enter the credentials into Shopify. With Shopify Payments you’re automatically set up to accept all major payment methods as soon as you create your Shopify store.
