Does anyone have insight on how to redirect a old to new domain via navigation? I moved my main domain from shop.domain dot com TO domain dot com. The old domain was a sub domain.
When I go to Navigation > View URL redirects and enter:
Redirect from: /shop.domain dot com to
Redirect to: /domain dot com/
It let me save but this does not work.
I just watched a you tube video and the person showed documentation from shopify saying it cannot redirect any sub domains that start with the word shop and others words.
My question is, is there another way I can redirect the old domain sub domain to the new one? I have a bunch of links in the wild of the old sub domain. Now the site gives an error page saying “this site can’t be reached”
