How to remove outdated Google search results for my online store?

Not sure what it’s called exactly, but when I type my store name into Google, a couple of different headings/Collections for my website appears under it.

Some of those have been deleted and when you click on the link it takes you to a 404 error page.

However I can’t find where these collections/product headings are still on my site.

I went under my site to look for different navigation pages or collections but I can’t find it.

I’ve had a lot of different people work on my site so I’m not sure where the page is, that has these links, that appears on the Google search under my store name.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, @MrDeviant

Are you referring to something like this in the search engine results page (SERP)?

If that’s the case, your pages probably haven’t been crawled (when google updates their info about your site) since those collection pages have been deleted. I would recommend visiting Google’s page here on requesting them to recrawl your page.

If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.

Thank you so much, SERP, I knew there was a better way to describe it. I thought the collections was in another place in my Shopify store still, I didn’t know it took Google awhile to catch up, again thanks!!

Glad that solved it, @MrDeviant !
