How to resend confirmation emails to customers after updating their email?

i wanted to know if there is away to resend a confirmation email to customers after a new email has been updated.

You can totally resend an order confirmation email to the new email address.

• From your Shopify admin, go to Orders

• Open the order page, and scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the Timeline section

• Click on “Resend email” where it mentions Order confirmation email

• It will ask if you want to re-send the email to the updated email address. Click Send

There sure is a way to resend the confirmation email after updating the customer’s contact information. You simply need to click the Resend email button found in the order timeline and it will prompt you to confirm sending the email to the current email address listed in the order.

Feel free to follow the steps below if you need a guide on updating the email address and resending the order confirmation email.

1. In your Shopify admin, go to the Orders page.

   

2. Click the order in question.

3. If you need to update the contact information, click the ellipsis (...) beside Customer. Otherwise, skip to step 6.

   

4. Click Edit contact information.

   

5. Enter the details you need to update and click Save. Optional: you can check Update customer profile if you wish to save the new contact information to the customer’s profile.

   

6. Scroll down to the order timeline and click Resend email below the order confirmation email activity.

   

7. Click Send on the pop-up that appears. The new email address will be listed there.
