Need to be able to have certain products that require a minimum of pieces to be purchased. For example 12 piece for a specific product.

If you are looking to set minimum order quantities for multiple products in your store, using an app is likely the best way to achieve this. Here are some options from our App store:
Custom coding could also be a solution. However, if you are looking to set limits on multiple products, an app may make these settings easier to control. There is a detailed thread that exists in the Community about this topic linked here. I recommend reading through this topic for further information and advice. If you are interested in having this coded on your store, you can either continue to seek help in the Community, or hire a Shopify Expert.
