I’m looking for the easiest way to setup an automatic discount that applies at checkout if people add 2 items to cart for example that are apart of a promotional bundle. I don’t want anything visible to prompt people on the page of the first item to upsell I just want the discount automatically applied at checkout

You can create automatic discounts as per: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/discounts/discount-types
You can offer your customers discounts that apply automatically at checkout and on cart. You can create amount off, or buy X get Y automatic discounts.
For an automatic discount to apply correctly, your customers need to add all eligible items to their carts before they move to checkout. This includes the items that they need to buy to qualify for the discount as well as the items that they get as part of the promotion.

“automatic discount” can only apply to the Specific products, what should i do if the situation is customer can get discount when both A and B in the checkout at the same time .

To achieve this, I recommend using a third-party upsell app like BOGOS App. With the Checkout Upsell feature, you can automatically apply discounts at checkout for items in a promotional bundle—without showing any prompts on the product page.
