I am living and operating shopify from Sri Lanka. i want to use drop shipping business in USA by using shopify store. I want to use by default Shopify Payments method in my store. what i need to do that
as an non residents of USA. if can provide EIN, USA bank information and US physical address .
what else i needed to full fill the shopify requirement and operate shopify without any interruption

I’d like to share some info with you here regarding the requirements for applying to use Shopify Payments USA while not based in that country.

In order to be considered, you would need to have a US tax ID as well as having physical operations on US soil.

You would need to submit all of the following in order to apply:

  1. Government-issued photo ID (driver’s licence, passport, etc. - non-US ID may be accepted)
  2. A Tax ID in the United States:
    1. EIN if the merchant is LLC/Corp
    2. SSN if the merchant is Sole Proprietor
  3. Business registration document (Registered in the US with the government)
  4. Proof that the business is actually operating from the US. This can include tracking showing they are shipping from the US or proof of a physical US address (not a forwarding address), or more, at Shopify’s discretion. Please note that a bank statement is not a valid proof of address.
  5. A USD checking account, opened with a real US banking institution, located on US soil. Virtual banks and currency services will not work for this, it has to be a real US bank

I know from experience that the requirement for proof of actually physically operating in that country is a hard requirement, without which your application will not be granted.
