I AM NEW. jUST STARTED MY THEME....DISCOVERED ITS NOT WHAT I WANT OR LIKE. CAN I SWITCH IT OUT?

I am new. I chose a theme (dawn) I don’t like it and its not working for me. I have varied merchandise and don’t understand the layout. Can I switch it out even though I have already done some work on DAWN and saved it?

If i can switch it out…how do I do it.

If I am able to switch it out. Will I have to do it over from scratch?

Help ASAP I have been sinking and ready to quit for a week now.

Hello there,

Yes, you can switch to a new theme by publishing it to your online store. You would need to generally make new customizations as each theme has different layouts and sections.

Rest assured, all of the pages that you created can be easily linked to your new theme. For instance, your About Us page, Blogs, or any sort of page created from your admin. Your images should also be saved so you can easily upload them to the new sections on your themes.

For more context, you can add up to 20 themes to your online store, but only one theme can be published at a time. A published theme is the theme that customers see when they visit your online store. Your published theme appears in the Current theme section of the Themes page, and your unpublished themes appear in the Theme library section. Basically, yes, you have the ability to switch through different themes.

I also wanted to add that if you happen to choose another Shopify theme to work with, you may qualify for 60 mins of design time from our themes team. For more information on this, please visit this link as well.
