Hello, I made my shopify store and choosed the basic plan.. but the store didn’t work as I thought and I can’t pay my bills now.. what would happen if I didn’t pay?
Will u freeze my account until I become ready and able to pay for it or will the bills get higher for the months I don’t pay? Cuz I couldn’t close the store while there’s bills not paid

In extreme cases, if the non-payment issue persists, Shopify may eventually deactivate your store. This means your store will be taken offline, and you may lose access to your data until you pay again.

What happens if I never pay Shopify? cuz they must actually be high tryna charge me 399 dollars when I cancelled before that and the subscription isn’t even active yet, I just wanna make sure that I don’t get sued and honestly I might just sue them cuz I’ve seen quite a few other cases on this. Like if I don’t pay ever it only says they’ll shut down my account, so if that’s it I’m fine with it.
Hi, @JJNP . If you don’t pay your subscription your account will eventually be frozen. To clarify, Shopify doesn’t charge for accounts that are not active. If you are being charged, it means your subscription is active or you have accidentally purchased a subscription for another store that is active. This guide on unknown charges can help.
