I can't Automatically import/Sync my Shopify Shipping settings to Google merchant

Hi all,

I am trying to set up Google Merchant & need to automatically sync my shipping settings from Shopify. But I keep getting the following Error message:

''You don’t have any store shipping settings. You can update your shipping settings and then refresh this page. Or select “Manually set up shipping settings in Google Merchant Center.”

I most definitely do have shipping settings set up so not sure why it is not recognizing them. I also cannot set them up in Google Merchant manually as I have multiple shipping parameters (and multiple different prices for each parameter depending on the product ordered) and it appears that the google manual parameters cannot capture them all (I have 3 different price parameters:

  1. USA Domestic Standard,
  2. USA Domestic Express and
  3. International

And these 3 determinants also vary in price depending on the product category ordered, of which there are two. So essentially I have 6 Shipping rates depending on which of the above apply - I struggle to recreate these manually in Google Merchant based on the Google Merchant parameters available: price, Weight, no. of items or destination.

Any help as to why the settings won’t sync automatically would be much appreciated.

Are your shipping prices native shopify, or are you using a 3rd party shipping app?

Thanks for the reply! I am using a third party Logistics company called Shipbob to fulfill my orders and my shipping. I set the shipping pricing that I charge to my customers on Shopify though.

If the shipping details are added natively in Shopify, then and you are using the free app, it should be add in GMC. If that is not the case, reach out to the support team of the data feed app you are using. If it’s the free one, reach out to Shopify, if you are using an app not built by Shopify, reach out to the support team of that app you are using.

I am in desperate need of trouble shooting my feed between shopify and Google Merchant Center for the missing Shipping Labels, i have tried everything and cant seem to get it resolved. Can I hire you to resolve this problem?

Please note that if the shipping rates are native, they should transfer to GMC. If the shipping rates are 3rd party, these cannot be submitted automatically. In this case you need to match the rates in GMC manually, which can be difficult if they are complex.
