I believe that Shopify is trying to scam me out of my funds. My Shopify Payments account was terminated on May 2, 2024, and as of today, November 8, 2024, it’s been approximately 167 days. The support team keeps telling me that I will receive my money 120 days after the suspension date. I have contacted Shopify every day for over a month, the ticket numbers:
Despite all these tickets, I still have not received any updates from the risk management team. The biggest issue is that the company doesn’t provide a phone number to contact them.
Please avoid this company. Do not open an account with them or use Shopify Payments. They will steal your money for sure.
I carefully read your comment. In my opinion, it’s unacceptable to sit around waiting longer than one week just to get a response about funds that should have settled in your bank within 24 to 48 hours. Unfortunately, you cannot control Shopify’s policy but you do have decision-making power.
