Als ik iDeal als payment method aankruis, staat hij er niet als optie voor de klanten, terwijl als ik visa ofzo aankruis hij er wel gewoon staat. Weet iemand een oplossing?
Hi! This usually happens because iDEAL is only displayed to customers who are detected as being in the Netherlands.
Here are a few things you should check:
Shopify Markets
Go to Settings → Markets and make sure the Netherlands market is active and configured correctly.
Payment provider settings
If you are using Mollie, make sure iDEAL is enabled in your Mollie dashboard, not just inside Shopify.
Currency settings
iDEAL only works with EUR, so confirm your store currency is set to Euro.
Checkout testing
When testing checkout, use a Netherlands shipping address. If you are outside the Netherlands, Shopify may hide the iDEAL option.
After these checks, the payment method should appear normally for customers in the Netherlands.
