One day, something suddenly happened: my Shopify Payments transactions were suspended.
I contacted customer service and filed a complaint, but all they said was, “After review, we determined your business is risky.” They’re withholding my tens of thousands of dollars in payment until next February? By next February, the grass on my grave will be taller than your son-in-law’s customer service son. This is robbery. This is a crappy company. I even requested a refund for a customer who “had already received the goods,” but this cunning merchant wouldn’t let me. Isn’t this just blatant robbery? You guys are awesome.

Have you been able to sort your payment suspension now
So I am having an issue where Shopify is withholding payments. I have random orders that I fulfilled but the payment to me is still “pending” dating back to August. I have been in touch and in as few words possible they said 2 payouts are scheduled finally. One is now scheduled for Monday, but I have no information for which orders they are or even why this even happened to begin with. I know how frustrated people are with the customer service and I couldn’t agree more. I am actually going to consult my lawyer on Monday. They are breaking the law. If there is a reason for them to do what they are doing to you and me without any formal communication, that is straight up theft and illegal in my book. There are many people having issues and if we can figure out how to get together on this, we may have legal action. I regret spending $6k this year to set up their POS so it would sync better with my website. I am very frustrated and sad giving up my other system. If I can afford it, I will look at getting away from corporations that don’t care about their customers. When we first signed on with them with our website years back, they were so helpful. What the hell happened?
