Hi Community,

I need to change some text in the checkout for legal reasons and would appreciate help with two specific tasks:

1. Insert Custom Link Above Payment Methods

I’ve successfully used the theme’s “standard texts” to change some information below the product on the product page. The following entry takes me to the shipping terms page: inkl. MwSt., Versand .

Now for legal reasons I need to add the same in the checkout to take me to the general terms and conditions (AGB). Hence I tried changing the custom text field above the payment options, too, to the following text: AGB

However this just comes out as plain text (see screenshot). How can I make sure there is the correct link inside?

  1. Remove the “Sicher und verschlüsselt” Text at the Bottom

At the bottom of the payment section, there is a default legal/safety message saying:

“Sicher und verschlüsselt”

This message seems to be hardcoded or inserted by the checkout template, and I haven’t found an option to disable it in the theme editor or language files.

  • Goal: Completely remove or hide this line due to legal reasons we are not allowed to show this

  • Question: Where exactly can I do this?

Thanks for your answer @Design_God ! We’re on the Grow plan at the moment, so no way to configure the shop then. Regarding the plain text. That would also be incompliant actually. You need to have a clickable link…
