when running a month end inventory report, the report is listing products which we do not track inventories and these quantities are negative.
i checked the product and the product is setup to not track inventory.
can i run this report to exclude non-tracked inventory items?
It appears that the Shopify report doesn’t have that much flexibility in filtering. So you can’t filter to only Tracked items.
Our Report Toaster app can help. We have an inventory history feature which can provide the functionality you are seeking. Note that the history started from the day you install the app and enable that feature, as Shopify’s API does not provide historical values for inventory. Unfortunately Shopify does not have the flexibility to create the custom report you have mentioned at this moment.
However, You can use a reporting tool if your Shopify business relies on custom reports for data analysis. With a reporting tool you can schedule your reports, consolidate data from multiple stores, various apps and also get expert assistance to build the reports you need.
