Inventory tracking - resetting to 0 after sale

I have added inventory and inventory tracking to all my products, but for some weird reason, after a sale the stock goes from ex. 40 to -1 an sold out instead of going from 40 to 39… Anyone know what the problem might be?

Might be worth sharing a screenshot of what you’re seeing. The inventory change screen reads a bit weird if you’re not used to it so it might just be a misunderstanding. If not, the inventory change that’s responsible for what you see will be listed there.
