To piggyback off what some people have already said, dropshipping is not dead, and probably won’t die for a long time. It’s always good to remember that dropshipping is just where you get your products and how they get to your customers. Customers typically don’t know exactly where their products come from, how they are packaged, who is shipping them, they are mostly involved at the end of that process. What makes the biggest difference in how successful your dropshipping business will be is what you’re selling and how you market it.
Marketing strategies are forever changing and improving, so as long as you keep up with market trends you should be able to keep your dropshipping business alive. This applies for all businesses not just with dropshippers. A lot of businesses dropship and some big corporations too. Amazon has a lot of dropshippers, Walmart dropships some of their products, and Wayfair is a business that only dropships.
I suggest doing research on trending products (ones that are on the rise and not already very popular), and how to create videos of your products. One tip I have is try not to make your ad look like an ad, the more authentic your video feels the more people will be comfortable to buy from a store they aren’t familiar with. If you are going to create an ad that does look like an ad make sure you are demonstrating the benefits of the product and the problem it solves.
