Shopify seems all about making it easy and integrated
So why is it so difficult to add “basic” functionality of adding a code snippet to checkout.liquid to embed snippets of codes for Google Tag Manager into your checkout.
its seems like a lot of hoops to jump thru for what should be “Insert your check out tag here”
Is this on a roadmap , and can it be accelerated ?
I understand how important this is to you and I’d be happy to share your feedback with our developers as a feature request. While this isn’t something that I can give a time frame for, as platform changes can take an unprecedented amount of time.
