We have a clothing brand. I want to offer stitching services. Stitching would be a variant and price would be added based on that.
However, I dont want to add quantity for the variant - just hte product as it’s whole. Currently if I add 5 variants, I have to add 1 quantity for each, and the total quantity becomes 5.
I want the total quantity to be 1 because that is the total available stock.
Please let me know if I make sense.
Hi @sangisathi16 ,
I really don’t understand your question, do you want to use the same inventory for 5 variants?
Please explain more about it, I will help you check it
Hi, sorry I should have worded it better.
So let’s say there is a product X.
Now X has 5 variants or consider it customisation possibilities: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
But X has a stock of only 1. That 1 piece can be customised for all the variants.
Now if I add 1 as stock quantity in front of each variant, the total quantity of X becomes 5.
However, I want it such that if a customer orders any of the variants, the product should go out of stock, because obviously there is no more of it left.
Does that make sense?
