I have a customer trying to access my website and they are getting an alert saying the domain is blocked due to network filtering policy. Is that an SSL problem on my end? How to I check to make sure SSL Certificate is active and configured correctly?
You can view your SSL certificate settings by going to Settings >> Domains.
If it says your SSL is connected, which will happen automatically within a few hours of connecting the domain, the issue is on your customer’s end.
A website being on such network blacklists can happen if your domain name was purchased second hand , or the domain name itself contains words often prohibited by firewalls.
If can also be the opposite situation where only specific websites are whitelisted for access on a network so it will not matter what you do as only the administrators of that network choose what sites are permitted.
Highly likely the customer is on a restricted network they do not control , , like a restaurant or library WIFI, and to access your site they need to use a different location.
