I just created a Shopify account to ask this question because there was no other way to reach out to Shopify. I wanted to send an e-mail or call someone. I hate chatting on websites but for this, I would have done it, but it wasn’t an option. So again, I just got a text giving me a Shop Pay Code. Is someone trying to commit fraud at some “store” that I have a login for? I dont use Shopify and I have no idea what is going on.

I firstly want to reassure you that we do have access to live support 24/7 via our support portal here. You can select the option “I can’t login to my account” and then you can access our live support directly.
With that being said - receiving a Shop Pay authentication code like this can mean that someone has accidentally input their phone number incorrectly and it was mistakenly sent to you and not them. The good news is, that the code itself is a safety measure so please do rest assured none of your details have been accessed by anyone. You can opt-out of having your data on Shop Pay by using this form if you wish. I trust this helps, thank you!
