Is reinstallation needed if Facebook shop shows as disconnected?

It states that Facebook is disconnected but the shop is still open. Purchases can still be mad via Facebook and IG. Do I need to delete and reinstall my Facebook shop?

Hi @AlleyMcB ,glad to help with your question. Yes AlleyMcB, You could try adding the Facebook channel to your Shopify store again. Sometimes it can reset the relationship between Shopify and Facebook.

  1. Select Online Store from your Shopify account
  2. Click Preferences. Next, copy and paste your Facebook Pixel ID into the correct field, then select Save

For Facebook checkout follow these steps:

Log into Shopify and select +(plus icon) next to the sales channels

Select Learn More next to the Facebook channel

Click Add channel

Next, select Facebook and click Get Started

Click Connect Account
