I’m super new to all this online store stuff, and I keep hearing about Shopify POS. I’m wondering, is Shopify POS free to use, or do I have to pay something extra to get it working for my little shop? Need help.

And is it available any region?

Shopify POS is free for 3 days then $1/month for 3 months.

— While every Shopify plan $5 starter comes with a simple one known as (POS Lite), you have to pay $89 per month for each location of POS Pro if you want additional features.

— In addition to the cost of $39 monthly and above for Shopify plan, one would require it too.

— This POS can be used in most of the places; however, a complete experience requires integration with Shopify Payments as well as specific hardware and may not be available in all regions — visit Shopify’s Help Center to find out more about this in your country.

Hello Valentina @valentinaMz If all you need is the basic features of Shopify POS, you can get the app on your basic Shopify subscription without having to pay any extra cost. Shopify POS has a free version, but it comes with basic features. If you’re on any Shopify plan, you get Shopify POS Lite at no extra cost, which includes in-person sales, order management, and payment processing.

If you need advanced features like staff permissions, in-depth reports, and exchanges, you’ll need Shopify POS Pro, which costs $89/month per location.

As for availability, Shopify POS is not available in all regions. It mainly supports the U.S., Canada, UK, Australia, and some parts of Europe

Shopify POS is free if you’re already using Shopify, but it comes with limited features and can be hard to customize. I run a small shop too and switched to ConnectPOS—it’s way easier to use, integrates directly with Shopify, and has amazing support. It works in multiple regions and is perfect if you need something simple but powerful. It’s available on Shopify Marketplace so definitely worth checking out!
