I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been unable to contact our support. To help our merchants receive a faster response, we have temporarily moved our phone conversations to online chats, email, Twitter and Facebook support. You should be able to contact our live chat, email and Twitter support via our Help Centre here or our Facebook support is available here anytime 24/7. To access our support via the help centre, I have created a short example of how to access our support here. If you’re unable to sign in as a merchant, please try and log in as a guest as shown in the video example instead and our staff can authenticate the account later if needed.

Hellooooo… is anyone out there?? What and where is Shopify support ?? I would take anything at this point… I realize I obviously can’t get to a live human but if it’s not by phone at least by chat??? do I need to send smoke signals please somebody tell me what’s going on!!

To contact our support, you are welcome to contact us here on Twitter or here on Facebook. If you would prefer to speak with our live chat, callback or email advisors, you can access these channels through our Help Centre.
When on the Help Centre page, you should see Support > Contact Support in the main menu or there’s a Contact Shopify Support button near the end of the page. The Help Centre will try and suggest guides first to resolve your query, however, if none of these suit your needs then please keep clicking the Contact Shopify Support button at the end of the page instead.
In some cases, Chrome extensions and cache can interfere with the Help Centre’s login/authentication process and you might experience a “loop” when trying to contact our support. If this happens, I’d recommend clearing your cache or log out of your Help Centre account and access our support as a guest instead as shown in this short video. Our advisors can authenticate the account later if needed or our Facebook and Twitter support would be happy to help instead.

Shopify’s customer service used to be impeccable over the phone. Issue’s via phone support were resolved in significantly less time, and the customer experience was significantly better. The fact that this message is on their site, and then when you call, it says “We have moved all support online.” and then you can’t even get someone to respond when you send a chat, is frustrating. Online chat is not an effective way to solve more complicated issues. It’s one thing to reroute common issues to an FAQ section but the need for human to human interaction for customer service is still very much needed. Bring back phone support, or guarantee that your customers chat experience is AS FAST OR BETTER than speaking to someone on the phone.

Thanks for your feedback! The number you have mentioned is not the correct number so I’d like to reach out to the team and have it removed. Could you share a link to the guide or link you can see that advertised?
We do currently offer phone support but if the lines are too busy we’ll offer a callback service instead. If you visit our Help Centre here, you should be able to view the correct numbers. Here is an example of how that should look.

Thanks for that, I’ve removed the 2015 board as it’s outdated and I’m reaching out to the team to have the phone page you linked updated as well. The video I shared above was just created before replying, I can see the phone queues are low at the moment as well so there shouldn’t be a reason why you can’t see the phone options. Can you try the following instead and let me know how you get on?
