Is there a limit to staff access in a development store?

Is there a limit to the number of staff you can provide access to a development store? I have had a few cases where after creating a new staff member and assigning them access to a development store (one that other staff members have also been given access to) they get an error message:

I have double and tripled checked that they’re accessing with the correct email address, they have access to the store in question. The only thing I can think is there is a limit on the number of staff who can either be added to a development store or can be logged in at any given time.

There is a limitation to the number of Staff you can add to your development store. You can add up to 15 staff.

Make sure there is no typo in the email the Staff is entering and double-check it in the Staff account emails created for the store.

Multiple staff can access the same store at the same time. If everything looks correct and you are still having issues with login:

  1. Clear the cookies and cache of your browser and then reboot the browser and then try to login.
  2. Try a different web browser. For example: If you are currently using Google Chrome, login to your Shopify store using any other browser like Firefox, and then try to login.
  3. Try to login from an incognito window or private browsing window to rule out any browser issues.
  4. Try another device, such as another computer or mobile phone.
  5. Try another internet connection. For example: Use network on a phone rather than wifi.

Thank you for the info about 15 being the limit. It turns out it was a incorrect email address, so my fault. But knowing the limit is handy as well.
