My shop sells keychains, stickers, prints, and a few other things. Whenever someone buys a sticker and a keychain, I don’t want the shipping costs to combine and say they are shipping separately, as I can just add the stickers to the keychain package and ship them together. But, when someone buys a keychain and a print, I need them to have split shipping, as I can’t ship prints with the keychains, and I have to ship them separately. Is there any way for the split shipping to only apply to specific shipping profiles rather than all of them?? And I don’t want to remove the sticker shipping profile entirely, as they are much cheaper for me to ship, and it provides a more affordable option for international buyers who would typically be put off by the hefty shipping costs for my other items.
You can definitely manage this using separate shipping profiles in Shopify. it just takes a bit of setup.
Here’s what you can try:

Create different shipping profiles for each product type (e.g., one for keychains/prints, another for stickers).

In each profile, set your preferred shipping rates and zones.

Then, under Settings → Shipping and delivery → Combine shipping rates, you can control how rates are combined at checkout.
If you don’t want Shopify to add up rates from both profiles (which causes the higher total), you can consider using a custom app or flat combined rate instead.
